Masturbation has been covered in many films. It has to be subtle because this is still a very touchy subject. Pun intended, LOL. Outside of porn films there have been very few films where we see women indulging in the act of self pleasure. Once again Jennifer Jason Leigh does an incredible job in the film Single White Female. One of my all time favorite masturbation seens comes from the film Chain of Desire. The scene is shot beautifully as three people watch each other from their apartment windows and join in this safe activity. Masturbation and voyeurism combined. In the film Bent we get a descriptive visual of the act of sexual masturbation and the same in the film Cool Hand Luke.
